I wanted to provide an update regarding the recent concerns raised about the road and pathway conditions near the Glenavon development site on Ballymun Road lower. Many of you have shared your experiences about the debris, loose stones, and overall mess that made the area hazardous for pedestrians and vehicles.
Following these concerns, I contacted the developer, and I’m pleased to report that swift action has been taken to resolve the issue. The site now has a road sweeper and two gate personnel actively managing cleanliness and traffic flow. The developer has assured me that safety and cleanliness are top priorities moving forward, and this will help prevent similar issues in the future.
Additionally, I’ve received inquiries about the Glenavon development units and whether they will be available for sale or designated as build-to-rent properties. I’ve reached out to the developer for clarification and will share any updates as soon as I receive them.
